STK and flashy Coco Deville
Now this is my kinda fun, sans the paparazzi. STK a top-flight steakhouse, neighbor to the Belmont, Koi and Nobu (up the block) on LaCienega in West Hollywood, promises to be the premiere social atmosphere for A-listers. The elevated dining hall with the classic black/white crescent booths is a perfect backdrop for any sexy Saturday night rendezvous. Get it started with the shrimp rice krispies, but really, don't even bother with the seafood, the steak steals the show. Thursdays are DJ nights, so be ready to dance on the table tops.
Bring your social etiquette and make reservations, you'll be lucky if you can get one for Sunday or Monday night. Good luck!
If not, try your luck at the Coco Deville bar within STK, (love the name, I think I might change mine to this). This punky brewster meets NY showroom has bright plush lounge couches and sectionals, with these two funky swings hanging from the ceiling. But sheesh, there's a friggin' waiting list for the swings!! Arg!!!!! Anywho, the drinks are generous, so be sure to call ahead (they usually have private parties) and look your best. You know how Hollywood bouncers get down, you might have to slide him a dub or two. *sigh*
~Can aka Coco Deville
PS. adding the swings just for you Kan...how can I leave these out??
