This eco-friendly restaurant is becoming the hottest spot in Culver City. Getting a reservation on the weekend can be a bit challenging, but feel free to give it a go. Owner Akasha Richond, former chef to Barbra Streisand, doesn't half step it when it comes to organic and artsy food, wine and decor. The waiters even wear organic-cotton Levis and some of the furniture is made of hemp.
The patio seating on Culver is breathtaking and the bar offers 30 wines by the glass, and serves the full menu. The wine list, which features artisan boutique wines from small estates, focuses on organic and biodynamic producers. House cocktails contain fresh juices and organic spirits like Juniper organic gin and small batch tequila. There's also a bakery counter and an area where you can purchase coffee and organic teas as well as organic baked goods including lemon bars, apple tart, carrot cake and cupcakes.
