Formerly 86, a basement cabaret inspired by speak-easies of the Prohibition era (it was actually a speak-easy in the 1920s), Hush Lounge is a "secret" underground bar away from all the chaos of Hollywood Blvd. Hush exudes '20s soul, with dim lighting, marbled bathrooms, black and gold decor, and leather couches. Hush retains the elegance and glam of Hollywood's past. Their Prohibition Live Jazz Sundays offer $3 organic martinis, half-off bottle service, and of course, the best jazz in So Cal. Socialize in the smoking corridor or head off to the white Autumn Leaves room, with white suede chaise lounges and saxophones enclosed in glass wall cases.
