A friend recently told me about Hoagies and Wings, and I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first. I'm a huge WingStop fan, from their bleu cheese dressing down to their fruit punch. But I was pleasantly surprised once I tried the wings at H&W. They were voted #1 Wings & Sandwiches by CitySearch, have an excellent catering reputation, and they deliver! Their specialties include chicken wings and tenders, hoagie sandwiches, nachos and salad platters. The lemon pepper wings are a crowd favorite. I have been planning to stop and check the spot out on La Cienega, but I always seem to be on the wrong side of the street in rush hour traffic. I will have to make the trip there during some of the NFL playoffs. Have heard nothing but GREAT reviews about the spot!

Well I got a change to go back and try the Hoagies....F@#king GREAT!!! I was put off at 1st by their claim of having the best sandwich in LA award, but after tasting the hoagies (steak, chicken), the award is totaly valid. This spot is a keeper.
