ADCB @ The Mondrian Hotel

Sunset Boulevard's ultra-luxe Mondrian Hotel has transformed half of its open-face lobby into a cool, trendy lounge. Filled with cream velour booths and orange chairs set against metallic-speckled walls, ADCB, Asia de Cuba Bar, is a hip lounge with no bouncers and no guest list (unheard of on Sunset Blvd). There's a signature cocktail list of 23 specialties, including the Lemongrass Lychee and the Asian Side Car. The majority of the specialty cocktails cost about $15, but for $40, try the "La Reina 'B' Cocktail." (Patron Platinum Tequila, Gran Marnier Centenaire, fresh squeezed lemon, lime and orange and a half salted rim). Sushi rolls and tapas are served in the perfect small size to go along with your cocktail or to hold you over while you wait for a table at the amazing Asia de Cuba restaurant.
