But it's the candlelit back bar, with sherbert-colored stools, that's the best place to see all the action unfold. Order a drink at the bar or mix and mingle while inserting pre-paid cards into one of the state-of-the-art wine dispensers that line the wall. Each machine delivers the perfect two-ounce taste from a variety of premium red and white wines. Italian small plates, Kobe beef sliders, cheese and charcuterie samplers, thin crust pizzas, and tuna tartar, can be ordered for a quick bite.

Influenced by the traditions of Tokyo’s Akihabara district, Royal/T servers dress in playful maid uniforms while serving a menu fusing Japanese comfort food with a fresh California twist. Alongside the café, the inaugural exhibition 'Just Love Me' examines cuteness in contemporary art with works by Takashi Murakami among other internationally renowned artists. Loves it.
